Was reading up a little on Joomla last night and chanced on some xml-rpc integration. It seemed that in the latest Joomla 1.5 implementation, content can be directly sent from your desktop office applications to the Blog. Thought they might already have something similar for Wordpress… so tried my luck and yoo hoo! There it is…. WordPress xml-rpc integration. Did a few simple clicks on my Microsoft Office Words 2007 to set up this Blog Post… (ssh….still dun know if it works yet… just gonna keep my fingers crossed….)
One complain though… there seems to be no way of increasing the zoom on the screen… so I had to set the font size to 14 just so that my failing eyes can see my post clearly…
Just tried to put an image into the blog. If it works well, the image should appear just on top of this line. Why a Lenovo image? Well, to be honest, just bought a second hand Lenovo laptop today for SGD 2250. It was one of those laptops put on sale by people who had bought into Singtel Broadband Line in the hope of making a quick buck. And yes… I am one of those suckers that assisted them. But who cares… as long as it is WIN-WIN, it is fine with me.
Anyway, I save about 750 bucks on a brand new Lenovo and that can only be a good thing… 
Okay… that’s all folks… time to put the Microsoft Office Blogging API to the test!
