I worked really hard today, going through the yellow pages once again.
Hmmm… we wanted to get a car today and go all around Gulberg looking at alternative offices and hotels. However, our hotel played us out today… and did not get us the car we required. In the end, we were stuck with the tutu car again.

Well, we immediately became a lot less mobile with the tutu car. Instead of visiting a lot of offices, we decided to just make an offer on one of the offices we had seen 2 days before – Hafiz Suites. Hope it gets through as I do not really wish to waste too much time on this. For me, I am okay with quite a few choices. However, Denise preferred a newer place as it will mean less touch up no renovation… and yes… we do not really have a lot of time to do up the place…. we are looking at something which can be made ready in a matter of days…

After making the offer, we tried to rent a car. Yeah.. tried.. but failed. Somehow, the rates for walk-in foreigners were exorbitant. I visited a hotel nearer to the City Center, Gulberg, as we found the current one a tad inconvenient. We needed to spend 30 minutes traveling to Gulberg everyday.
Working in blazing heat of 40 degrees celsius is really tiring. We hid out at a Subway restaurant which was kept cool by 4 big air-conditioners…. before getting a tutu car to bring us along MM Alam Road looking for some interior designers to work with.
Denise with discussing with her designer. Costing goes around 550,000 Ruppee. After complaining about limited budget, price came down to 300,000 Ruppee.
But the cheapo James still find it a bit expensive, so went to some furniture shops to get the direct costings…
I love this guy! Very transparent about costings. Will probably work with him for my office renovation…
