Our Polytechnic’s Internship

Hmmm… I just got wind of this… and could not stop laughing…

Today my girl was telling me about her internship period. Basically, she was attached to an individual for 4 months and she was tasked to write out an entire e-commerce portal. So for 4 months, she will go to the person’s house and google intensively to do up the solution….

I felt sorry for her… that was until I heard about…

THE BANGLAH INTERN

Well, what happened was that the blanglah intern was given an internship by a construction company. Apparently, the construction company promised that there was some IT related job. Little did she know that the job scope was to go the construction site and collect samples from the blangah to conduct health check. What kind of samples? Both the liquid and solid kind, i.e. (Faeces and urine)

So what has that got to do with IT? What can she learn from this internship to help her cope with her future IT career? After thinking really hard… hmm… maybe it helped her with her for loops? ‘Cos her daily job can be summarised as one big for loop, i.e.

Code

Hmmm… so we are supposed to torture them until shit or urine. But there is some problem with the codes? Can my pakistani developers tell me what is wrong?

No no.. When i heard it… i feel so sorry. Worse… the intern was a female. So poor thing.

  3. junyang says:

This is really shitty man! The school is doing a bad job screening applicants for interns. Lol… perhaps there’s business for creating such a accreditation service.

Hehe… and to make things even worse… sigh… our xiao mei mei is made to go to construction site at 6 or 7 am in the morning. She had to take cab there.. (with no reimbursement)… and is paid a grand total of 440 SGD per month!

Hmmm.. .how come must be so early huh? Maybe morning got less BanglahDoNotWantToShitExceptions….
